Roof Replacement
When a roof has reached the end of its life, we take it down to the deck and build it back properly, with every layer that keeps water out.
What’s included
- Tear-off of the existing roofing, with all debris removed when we finish
- New drip edge metal on all rakes and eaves
- Ice and water shield at the eaves and in the valleys
- Synthetic underlayment under architectural shingles, such as Malarkey Highlander
- Hips and ridges capped with matching hip and ridge shingles
- New attic vents and pipe flashings, with every vent, flashing and exposed nail sealed
- The building permit, obtained before work begins

Every job is backed by our five-year workmanship guarantee. Murray Roofing carries liability insurance, and our employees are covered by workers’ compensation insurance.

How much does a new roof cost?
Every roof is different, so we price each job after looking at it: the size, pitch and layers of the roof, the materials you choose and how easy it is to reach. Call or request an estimate online and we will set up a time to look.
Do you tear off the old roof or roof over it?
We remove the existing roofing completely so we can check the deck and install new underlayment, ice and water shield and flashing. If there is more than one layer, we take them all off.
What warranty comes with a new roof?
The shingles carry the manufacturer’s material warranty, which depends on the product you choose. Every job is backed by our five-year workmanship guarantee.
Do you pull the permit?
We obtain the building permit from the city before work begins.
